Indus Law sought to transform its Bengaluru office into a vibrant, contemporary workspace that broke away from the traditional image of a law firm.

Commercial Interior Design By CCOD _ Curious Case Of Design

They desired a space that reflected their progressive yet rooted identity. Their requirement focused on accommodating formal meeting zones, collaborative workspaces, and quiet cabins.

Challenge -

a key challenge in this project was balancing the needs of the legal professionals. This included the need for all. Focused, individual work , collaborative team interactions & client meetings.

Objectives -

  • Depart from stereotypical dark and heavy law firm interiors.

  • Incorporate the brand color red as a central design feature.

  • Reflect Indian character while maintaining a modern, corporate aesthetic.

CCOD's design process involved understanding Indus Law's brand values. We focused on understanding the needs of the legal professionals who would use the space.

Key Learnings-

The project highlighted the opportunity to redefine the traditional law office aesthetic by incorporating bold color and modern design principles while still maintaining a sense of gravitas and professionalism.

Points of Inspiration-

The design drew inspiration from Indus Law's desire to be seen as progressive yet rooted, resulting in a fusion of modern aesthetics and subtle Indian character.

Design Considerations-

Moving away from deep wood panels and leather-heavy spaces. Using red as a spatial device to reinforce the brand. Infusing Indian character through materials and textures. Balancing gravitas with a decluttered and productive environment.
